With this California weather lately of cold, hot & rain, my new garden doesn’t know what to do. I was admiring the new blooms I have in the month of November.

On the honeysuckle I noticed this.

This clipping was given to me by a friend. I don’t know what it’s called. I blooms a really beautiful flower but I was told it takes a long time. I had no idea where the new blooms would come from but lo and behold, here they come.

I found a pile of feathers in my backyard. I fear that one of my dogs caught a bird.

Probably this one.

She looks guilty, but I think the bird got a way.

For months now, one of my (4) dogs has been pee-ing on the floor. They are all house broken so we were having a heck of a time figuring it out. We thought it might have been one of the older dogs suffering from incontinence, but noooooo. Finally the guilty party did it right in front of me. Boy is he in trouble……

I found the coolest vase today. Since I just broke the vase I used for my change, this just became my new change jar.

The Palos Verdes blue was listed as an endangered species in 1980, when the animal was known from only three locations on the Palos Verdes peninsula in California. By 1984, because of urban development and the construction of a ballfield at Hesse Park, the species was believed to have become extinct. In 1994, the butterfly was discovered at a site managed by the Department of Defense in south Los Angeles, renewing hopes for the survival of this species.
